Dickson Electric originated in 1905 and began purchasing power from TVA in 1936. At its inception Dickson Electric committed itself to providing the most reliable service at the lowest possible cost. One hundred years later, our commitment remains as true as ever.

Dickson Electric System is a public utility serving 33,000 customers in five counties. Counties presently served are Dickson, Hickman, Cheatham, Houston and Montgomery. We strive to keep in touch with our customers ever changing needs so that we may better serve them.

With skilled planning and dedicated employees Dickson Electric System is prepared to meet the challenges of our fast growing service areas. To do this, we are presently offering bank drafts, levelized billing, security lights, heat pump loans, energy right certifications on new homes, surge protection and emergency beacon lights.
