Since our phone service uses VoIP over your fiber connection, it relies on theONT and router, which require electricity to operate. During a power outage, phone service will not work unless you have a battery backup or generator connected to keep the equipment powered. We recommend keeping a backup solution in place to maintain phone connectivity during power interruptions.
