May Brings a Fresh Wave of Progress for Ignite Broadband!
We’re excited to share that construction is now underway in Phase 3, marking another big step forward in our mission to bring fast, reliable fiber internet to our community. On April 29, we opened Zone 3 of Phase 2 for customer signups, expanding service to over 600 homes and businesses!
April was 1 of our busiest months yet as our crews connected more than 400 new Ignite customers. Every new connection is a testament to the hard work of our team and the continued support of our incredible community.
This month, we’re planning to open another zone for signups and will continue installing hundreds of new customers each week. We’re also proud to be involved in some great community events in May! This Saturday, May 3, we’re excited to once again be part of Old Timers Day, a Dickson tradition that honors our history and brings the community together. Then on Monday, May 5, we’re sponsoring Bingo at the Senior Center, just a small way to show appreciation to the folks who helped build the community we’re so proud to serve.
We’re also recognizing National Small Business Week by saluting the local business owners, entrepreneurs, and dream-chasers who drive our local economy. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed, and we’re honored to bring big-city internet to your small business. We look forward to celebrating the week by spotlighting some of our small business customers on our social media!
And of course, a big congratulations to the Class of 2025! Whether you're graduating from high school, college, or a technical program, your hard work and dedication are worth celebrating. The future is bright, and even better when it’s connected. A very special congratulations to Sawyer Dudley and Brice Barber, our Dickson Electric System (DES) and Ignite Broadband interns, who are graduating from Dickson County High School!
