Mike Tenhet: Fiber Technician
Mike joined Ignite Broadband in June 2024 as 1 of our dedicated Fiber Technicians and has been serving customers with excellence ever since. With 8 years of experience in the telecommunications industry — including 4 years specializing in fiber — Mike brings both knowledge and precision to every job site. Before stepping into telecom, he spent 4 years in federal law enforcement and proudly served 16 years in the military, building the discipline, integrity, and work ethic that show up in his work every single day.
When he’s not out in the field, Mike loves spending time with his family. Whether they’re camping, hiking, or just enjoying the outdoors together, that’s his favorite way to recharge. He and his wife Debbie have a full house with their sons James and Luke at home, along with their adult children Amber, Doug, and Zachary.
If you ask Mike where to grab a bite in Dickson, he’ll tell you there are plenty of great spots — but if he had to choose a favorite, it would be Condesa. Mike says his favorite part about working at Ignite is simple: our customers. He loves the people he gets to serve and truly enjoys being part of bringing fast, reliable fiber internet to the community. And we’re pretty grateful to have him on our team, too.
