TVA EnergyRight® Residential Services
Homeowners, landlords, or tenants can register with the program to start their journey to a comfortable, energy-efficient home.
Qualifier: Single-family residence with active electric service.
Benefits: Access to free how-to videos, guides, and downloadable home energy advice.
Exciting New Resource
You can now access the EnergyRight® Marketplace through the EnergyRight Website or the EnergyRight Marketplace Website. This new tool helps you shop and compare brands, models, efficiency, and more for a variety of products for your homes such as light bulbs, thermostats, home appliances, and electronics.
- Complete a free do-it-yourself audit of the home to receive a free kit of energy-saving devices just for participating.
- Schedule a free virtual or on-site home evaluation for a Certified Energy Advisor to walk you through your home and provide a customized report of energy-saving recommendations.
- Access the list of certified contractors in the Quality Contractor Network (QCN) to get quotes and have home energy upgrades installed and schedule a virtual or on-site inspection of completed upgrades.
- Financing is available on most upgrades for qualifying homeowners, with the monthly payment added to their electric bill.

TVA EnergyRight® Residential – New Homes Program
Home builders and homeowners acting as their own contractors have many decisions to make in the home design, materials, and selections for building a home that is comfortable and affordable. Qualifying builders can participate in this TVA program for electrification incentives on all-electric construction (no gas), or a combination of electric heat pumps and water heaters. An incentive is also available for qualifying EV-ready homes!
